Pay Scale
For the post of Assistant Professor at LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, the selected candidates will be entitled to L-11/L-12 Pay as per experience as mentioned in the official notification. Allowances will be as per Central Government rates as adopted by this Institute from time to time.
Job Location
The candidates selected to fill these posts of Assistant Professor will have to relocate to Tezpur district of Assam.
Required Experience
At least 1 year experience is required for Pay level (L-11) and
3 years experience is required for Pay level (L-12) as Lecturer/Tutor/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/Senior Resident/in the concerned Specialty or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first post graduate degree.
Essential Qualifications
For the post of Assistant Professor at LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, the following essential qualifications are required:
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification
(ii) Post-graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Super-specialty
mentioned in Section A of Schedule-VI or equivalent recognized DNB qualification awarded by the National Board of Examination.
The decision of the Competent Authority regarding interview, verification of
documents and selection would be final and binding on all candidates.
